One of the most colourful attraction in Holbox is the amazing street art that decorates many of the buildings here. In 2014 International Public Art Festival (IPAF) covered the island’s streets with beautiful murals that will captivate your attention. We will show you all the murals in the most hidden corners of Holbox.

Travel is assumed to be the best school oflife. In a beautiful garden, with a roof composed of palm leaves, you can try to walk on one of our slackfline and maybe find your own balance 🙂
BEACH VOLLEY
At the beginning of the 2020 lockdown we came up with an idea, without knowing the importance of this space made up of a fishing net and 4 lines. Today you will be able to enjoy this field and share it with travelers, who could become friends for life from opponents in the game 🙂
shelter visit
We welcome our guest to visit the animal shelterof Holbox. Spend time with the animals, or take the dogs for a walk. From dogs and cats to raccoons, coatis, crocodiles, flamingos and birds, everyone is welcome at Refugio Holbox. It’s constantly busy here and in case you would love to help or support the shelter in any way, it’s tremendously appreciated.

Together we can play volleyball on our court, to later share some beers and head to thebeach to see the sunset. Sunset time on the island it’s special as you can see it 365 days per year.

Yes, we are in the Caribbean…! The Salsa night is one of the funniest nights in Holbox. You will have the opportunity to take dance classes for free with a teacher, who will show you some salsa steps so that you can continue dancing to the rhythm of a magnificent live music band. Try our cocktails, make new friends, conquer your partner and live a real Caribbean night!
ART NIGHT
If your plan is to have a chill night and enjoy good music, don’t hesitate to come to the Tribu bar! In our community we are lovers of art in all its forms, for this reason, we have created a space for artists from all over the world to show what they do. Here you can enjoy live music, Body Paiting, dance shows, appreciate crafts; And if you want to take home a memory for your whole life… You can also get a tattoo!
OPEN MIC
The “Open Mic” is a unique and magical meeting night. As if it were a stove, with the essence and harmony that characterizes it, we will meet at the bar to enjoy and share monologues, stand-up, and of course, the inevitable live music. You will be surprised to discover the number of hidden talents that travel the world, and that here you will have the opportunity to meet. We all have something to say! Come and have fun in this wonderful impromptu show, while enjoying an ice cold beer, a glass of wine or a delicious cocktail.
LIVE MUSIC
Fridays were and continue to be special nights at Tribu. The idea was born from a cultural thirst to propose and offer musical styles of all kinds; from the most imaginable and unimaginable corners of our planet earth. We lost count of the number of artists we had the pleasure of hosting and listening to, not to mention dancing. Every Friday you will have the opportunity to listen and witness different bands and artists in a humanly rich environment, not to mention the cocktails and food!
DJ NIGHT
Saturday has been changing over the years… but lately this night we decided to merge two genres that might not meet. Dj Gigi from Italy with his Funky and colorful music with the accompaniment of our percussionist Cesar from Mexico is a blast. There is no need to add more descriptions and you will have to witness this vibrant night. Each set is improvised on the spot and we assure you that it is almost impossible not to dance.
JAM SESSION
Tribu’s Jam is A classic on Sundays in Holbox! And yes, it is done in Tribu Hostel! As the name implies, it’s an improvisation session, where you will be amazed with the musical genres; singing, playing an instrument or dancing, it will be your choice. It is a unique night where you will feel the spontaneous vibe that characterizes us, as a Tribe.
